88	This looks a bad one for Mishack Ramahuma as he lands very awkwardly following an aerial challenge, but Sundowns have used all their subs already and might have to play out this one a man down.

56	Excellent determination from Chiefs now, and Siboniso Gaxa stings the goalkeeper's palms with a rasping drive from inside the area following a flowing counter-attack. Back-to-back corners for the Glamour Boys now, but they can't do much with either and Sandilands eventually gets the ball under control.
55	Shabba is the one to deliver, but it's too close to Wayne Sandilands who gets a good punch clear.
54	Chiefs on the attack again now, and they win a corner after Tshabalala's attempted through-ball is intercepted...
50	What a miss from Bernard Parker, and Chiefs really should be 1-0 up now as George Lebese completely takes the goalkeeper out of the game with a devilish delivery to the far-post, but with the whole of the goal to aim for the Bafana Bafana striker can only side-foot his effort the wrong side of the up-right.
47	A bright start from both sides here, but it's Chiefs who almost find a way through right after the restart as Reneilwe Letsholonyane jumps highest to flick the ball on in the area, but Lehlohonolo Majoro's touch lets him down and the ball escapes his feet, falling only to a defender who can clear.

45+1	Finally, in the first minute of first-half injury-time, we have some action, and it's end to end stuff as first Sundowns threaten with a dangerous cross into the area, although Khune comes out of a skirmish with the ball in tact, while at the other end Sandilands can only parry Majoro's shot back into the danger, but Parker just can't get a foot on the ball and the defence quickly clear their lines.
45	The fourth official raises his board and shows there will be two minutes of injury time added on here, and I think the sooner this half of football ends, the better. It truly has been poor from both of these juggernauts of South African football in the opening 45.
41	We're into the final few minutes of the first-half, and we're yet to see a clean-cut chance from either side. Both coaches will probably be happy enough to get into the break still goalless though, but we'll be hoping for a vast improved in the quality of play.
38	YELLOW CARD: Downs boot the ball out of play as Teko Modise is down and stays down. The medical staff are called onto the field, and the referee decides Reneilwe Letsholonyane's challenge on the striker is worthy of a booking and flashes the yellow card.
35	Tshabalala breaks down the wing with real purpose before cutting back inside and clipping his ball to the far-post, but Mishack Ramahuma is well placed and towers in the air to head well clear.
31	George Lebese shows some wonderful skill to turn his man in the middle of the park, but his attempted through-ball to Majoro is overcooked and spins through to the goalkeeper.
29	YELLOW CARD: First booking of the night goes to Chiefs' Lehlohonolo Majoro, but his reaction says it all as he goes shoulder to shoulder with his marker before both end up tumbling to the ground, and a foul either way seemed completely unlikely, but the referee, for some reason, brandishes a yellow. Questionable decision at best.
27	Up at the other end Sundowns attack through Teko Modise, but he doesn't get the proper connection on his long-range drive and the ball scampers through to the goalkeeper.
26	Reneilwe Letsholonyane launches a excellent ball over the top for Lehlohonolo Majoro, but the striker can't get a touch to bring the ball down and a really promising chance goes begging.
23	Chiefs are attacking with a bit more intent now, but one touch too many from Majoro sees a flowing move come to a premature end as the defenders can nip the ball off the striker's toe.
19	Another aimless cross from Sundowns allows Khune some catching practice. There seems to be a distinct lack of attacking prowess from both sides here, as maybe neither wants to be the one to concede first. As a neutral, it is so far failing to impress.
17	Very nice build-up from Sundowns now as they pass the ball around competently before feeding it out wide Nyasha Mushekwi to drill his cross into the area, but it's too close to Khune who does well to hold on.
14	Another free-kick for Chiefs now which Parker whips in to the far-post, and Wayne Sandilands is left in a pile following a challenge from Majoro, and although there didn't look too much wrong with it, the referee quickly blows his whistle and the free-kick goes the way of Downs.
13	Lehlohonolo Majoro is played in behind the defence with a ball over the top, but there's too much pace on the delivery and it skips through to the goalkeeper who gathers gratefully.
10	This game is being played at quite a high tempo, with both teams attacking largely down the flanks, although the deliveries are, as yet, not quite up to scratch, but the signs are promising.

5	There's a couple of niggling fouls here during the opening stages, but the referee could probably do better to let the game flow more after blowing up for every infringement. Meanwhile, Sundowns attack with a quick counter, but the final shot from Teko Modise is a weak one and won't trouble Itumeleng Khune.
3	Chiefs win themselves their first free-kick of the game, and it's in a promising area, and although Bernard Parker's delivery from Siphiwe Tshabalala's tee-up is decent, there's no-one in a Chiefs shirt attacking the ball and the defenders can easily clear.

	For Sundowns, there's no starting debut for new signing Thela Ngobeni, with the former Chiefs goalkeeper being brought in as cover for Wayne Sandilands, with Calvin Marlin and Dennis Onyango out injured.
	Bafana's loss at AFCON proved Chiefs' gain as coach Stuart Baxter was able to welcome no fewer than seven South African players back last Friday, namely Itumeleng Khune, Siboniso Gaxa, Tsepo Masilela, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Bernard Parker and Lehlohonolo Majoro, who all start here tonight.

	Downs began the season in truly atrocious form and found themselves floundering in the relegation zone under Johan Neeskens, but the Dutchman's sacking and former Bafana Bafana boss Mosimane's appointment spurred a huge turn-around in form for the Chloorkop outfit, who now sit 10th and who have the chance to go level on points in seventh.
	There would be no better way to restart the Premiership season for Chiefs than with the three points against the Brazilians tonight, but with the form Sundowns been in under new coach Pitso Mosimane, the Glamour Boys just might have their work cut out for themselves.
	Amakhosi had looked like running away with the PSL title in the first-half of the season, but a loss to Platinum Stars and a couple of draws towards the end of last year allowed Orlando Pirates to cut their lead at the top to just a single point.
	It's been a pleasure watching the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, but with Bafana Bafana having been knocked out at the quarter-final stage, South Africa should be more than happy to put the tournament behind them and re-focus their attentions to the country's top-flight, which is exactly what we'll be doing tonight.
